Next you are required to insert a Pentium Mobile in the computer. Take out the copper heatsink and fan to begin with. Remove the 3 screws holding it to get to the CPU and graphics card. After removing the heatsink, unplug the fan wires from the motherboard.

Taking out the CPU is very simple. A screwdriver is required to open the socket screws. This would allow the CPU to pop out and then can easily be removed. Fixing the new CPU is very simple then. After fixing it in safely, put everything back as earlier.
