Everyone has a budget in mind. Knowing the amount to spend for the system is very helpful in many ways like you can look for the best deals, you can make realistic decisions on which components to purchase and use, and knowing amount of the custom build allows checking if there’s a in-built that fills your requirements that would be reasonably affordable.

When assembling keep in mind to make it solid. Don’t budget for $1000 and then raise it to $1000 later. If $1100 is reasonable for you then set it as your budget limit, if you cannot afford it, then stick with the $1000 only. As you can always update it afterwards.
