Think about protection of your PC. Do you have an enough surge protector? Have you ever thought of getting an UPS? Use a UPS that powers the computer from the batteries all the time and recharges them while the power is on. If you use a UPS, make sure it isn’t underpowered, offering enough current to protect your work and turn off the PC properly.

Have you though where would you place your computer? Are there any chances of flooding where your computer will be placed? Is it safe from theft or unauthorized access? Placement may need extra cabling or a stand to place the computer on it.
