After being called as the worst computer brand in the 90’s on computer World, how will John Hui's latest purchase fare in a low cost environment dominated by Acer? Is there any hope of these old brands of the 90’s making a return anywhere except the Europe? AST, Packard Bell and eMachines have not attracted the 2 of the largest company like HP and Dell in spite of their service to the low end note book market.

I’m not sure Packard Bell will be the worst brand of past 10 years, However it can be called as the "most boring." Certainly there was some skimping on materials like alas mostly available in most of the products. The skimping makes this laptop a little delicate. But for the new laptop user, or for people having low budgeted wanting world class processors at a reasonable price, this laptop is it, but it is definitely not a traditional.
