After switching on the Mac, I inserted a DVD and automatically started playing.
After watching the DVD one can edit videos using IMovie HD which is obviously included in the system. After editing, one can burn it to DVD by going to create the DVD menu with samples and a bundle of other features such as chapters and special features.
