At first look, the Sky Hawk IMC 6371 is slim and attractive. The front bezel is mainly made of brushed aluminum. The added floppy and optical drive covers are also brushed aluminum, covered in clear plastic. The base of the front bezel is silver plastic while the edges have a mirror gloss finish. In middle of the front bezel is a horizontal band of reflective plastic "steps" accented by a blue stripe and 2 blue LEDs on every end.
The aluminum cover that shields the left, right, and top of the case is one piece. It is secured at the back by 3 thumbscrews. Both the sides have air vents.
The front panel LCD shows text in black while the background shows 7 colors. There are 3 buttons for setting the time and shift the display between time and temperature, Celsius and Fahrenheit, and setting the background color. The bottom right of the front bezel consists of the HDD activity LED, power LED, reset switch, and power switch.
Underneath the base left cover are 2 USB2.0 ports, a microphone port, a line-out port, and a firewire port. This cover is attached very poorly and rattles even when closed. The whole plastic base of the bezel is of poor quality.
The back side of the IMC6371 is basic. There's the 80mm exhaust fan from the power supply, 2 expansion slots, and the motherboard I/O ports.
One problem with the IMC6371 is the I/O cover. The motherboard is protected in such a manner that the ports don’t stick out as far as they should. The solid I/O cover comes pre-installed. Therefore, it is impossible to plug in any PS/2 devices or audio plugs without them being pushed out either immediately or after time and movement.
