After having launched the minHTX motherboard based on Nvidia's Ion platform. Zotac is out with a nettop based on the same motherboard. Zotac calls this nettop MAG which stands for Mini All-in-one Giant because it boasts of a pretty good configuration. It weighs merely 678 grams and is powered by the dual-core Intel Atom 330. A 160 GB hard drive and 2 GB of RAM makes it perfect for everyday applications. With support for Nvidia PureVideo HD, the GPU is capable of decoding full HD content with great ease. An HDMI port is prOVided on the rear panel for connecting the unit to an HDTV or an LCD monitor. You can use the bundled VESA bracket to mount the unit behind the monitor to save space on your desktop. The rear panel sports an eSATA port, VGA connector, gigabit Ethernet port, optical S/PDIF output and four USB ports. Additional USB ports are present on the front panel and on top of the unit. A card reader and jacks for headphone and mic are also present on the front panel. The MAG HD-ND01 looks sleek with a glossy black shell and silver borders. The bundled vertical stand is also black and glossy. Zotac should have included a cloth for wiping the exterior.
