    Follow this Instructions

    Step 1
Utilize cotton mops and acetone to clean exterior part of processor.

    Step 2
Move processor efficiently over 220-grit sandpaper. Utilize a circular motion. It's good to use even pressure on device.

    Step 3
Check top of processor every five minutes. If plating is not wearing off calmly, means heat sink did not make even contact with processor. Expose copper under HIS. It takes 15 minutes of sanding to achieve step.

    Step 4
When copper surface is exposed and nickel or aluminum plating removed, stop sanding instantly. Change 220-grit sandpaper for 400-grit sandpaper. Now keep on sand as before. The lapping procedure will take 30 minutes of steady sanding. You want to utilize new sandpaper as you lap.

    Step 5
You do not must sand processor to a high grade shine. Stop sanding process after surface of item is smooth. Utilize acetone and cotton swabs to remove metal shavings from top of processor. Allow processor thoroughly dry before installing into PC. It can take some hours for processor to dry.
