Default Problem related to temperature of CPU and GPU

Hello everyone. I have an Intel Core 2 duo E7400 2.8GHz, ASUS P5KPL-CM motherboard, 2 GB DDR-2 800 MHz RAM, XFX GeForce 9400 GT 512 MB based system. Whenever I switch on my system the CPU temp shows 100 degrees Celsius. The temperature remains constant even if I play games for a few hours. Also I have overclocked my graphics card core to 690 MHz and memory to 500 MHz. If I play games such as Crysis Warhead for an hour, the temperature of the graphics card rises to 62 degrees. Is it okay? I have not overclocked my CPU. The CPU temperature remains stable at 100 degree Celsius and the graphics card temperature rises from 55 degrees Celsius to 62 degrees Celsius. I have changed the Intel stock CPU cooler fan and added a cooler with a bigger heatsink. Still the problem persists. Please reply soon.

The temperature of the CPU is definitely abnormal. If the graphics card temperature is rising when playing a game, then the temperature rise is not good for your hardware. You need to stop overclocking the system or install sufficient cooling fans or even a water cooling liquid to the system if you want to keep overclocking the system. I would not recommend overclocking your system unless really necessary. But if you wish, use a good liquid cooling kit for the processor and graphics card. If the motherboard northbridge also features a water-cooling block, then install a water-cooling kit for that too. Also check if you are using a good quality CPU coolant paste between the CPU cooling fan and the CPU. Check if the CPU fan is mounted properly and there is no play in the attachments.
