For those who want an affordable CPU cooler that's more efficient than a bundled cooler, check out the Igloo 5610 Plus Silent by GlacialTech. This cool-looking cooler sports a tower design with four heat pipes running through a stack of 54 aluminum fins. The heat pipes carry heat from the aluminum base to the fins, which means ample surface area for heat dissipation. A pair of 92 mm fans is provided for cooling the fins-one for cooling the fins and the other for blowing out the hot air. The package includes clips for fastening the fans to heat sink and mounting hardware for Intel sockets LGA 775 and 1366 and AMD sockets AM2+ and AM3. Mounting the fan is very simple and you won't need to refer to the manual. The package would have been complete if mounting hardware for the LGA 1156 socket was included in the package.

VERDICT: A budget-friendly aftermarket CPU cooler for both AMD and Intel CPUs.

FOR: Good cooling, silent.

AGAINST: No LGA 1156 socket support.
