Default My PC is not working properly?

I have a Windows XP SP2 operating system on my computer and the configuration of my machine is Intel Celeron 2.40 GHz, 1 GB RAM and 80 GB hard disk. Very recently I formatted my hard drive completely after creating the partitions afresh and reloaded the operating system, so all the previous data was wiped off from my computer. I searched for all the hardware drivers and downloaded them from the web, but after loading the graphics driver I found a strange problem. When I double-click on any of the drives to open them, they come up with messages like 'Choose the program you want to open the file with' and I see a list of all the programs that are currently installed on my computer.

I have AVIRA antivirus loaded in my computer (free version) and I regularly update it from the internet. Even after scanning my computer I could not find any viruses. What is the problem? Is it some problem with the driver, or is it a virus? Please help me! Thanking you.

Your computer seems to be infected with a virus. Use a good antivirus program with complete updates and scan the computer. Try another antivirus such as AVG for free or use a trial version of E-scan or Norton and scan the entire computer to make sure if there is any virus. Finally, you will find a hidden file called 'autorun.inf' in the root folder of all the drives on your computer. This file needs to be deleted. Also check your USB flash drives and CD/DVDs for viruses, which could jump back to the PC each time you use them. Restart the computer and your computer should work fine.
