    Default CPU Fan

    I want to know that how much time does CPU fan takes to start after power on PC. Any help will be appreciated.

    I think it takes about a second or even less than the second.

    Thanks for your reply. I think there is problem with my CPU fan and I am not sure if fan turned on minutes later when CPU starts to heat up.

    I think it is totally based on system. In laptop, fan won't come on until CPU heats up generally takes 5-30 minutes, based on CPU type, CPU load, and BIOS.

    Thanks but other problem is power supply unit fan is noisy. As this is symbol of wearing down?

    Only moving part in PSU is fan, thus I think that is generating noise.
