Lian Li's world renowned chassis' are seeping into the Indian market. One of the first ones is the PC-P80 The Lian Li P80 is without adoubt, a giant when it comes to cabinets. Towering nearly two feet and with space for some six hard drives under its hood, it's not exactly heavy. The aluminium build with its brushed metal finish give it an elegant look. There aren't any fancy paint jobs and gimmicks to fool you.
The frame inside is sturdy.
There is absolute attention to detail everywhere - in the buttons, the drive pays, the expansion slots at the back, the front connectors, etc. Almost everything in this case is made of metal and is intricately designed and machined. The front door itself has three fans in it and the hinge is both smooth and sturdy. The drive bay doors have perforations in them which allow very good air flow from the front to the back.
The motherboard back panel has spaces with rubber border padding to prevent damage to cables while you route cables through them. The front panel with the USB, eSATA, Firewire and audio connectors is hidden under a folding metal Lian Li panel. The power button feels good but the Reset button is too small.
This is perfect for flaunting garners who need a frame to house their high-end dual-graphics card rigs with water cooling in. This is one of the lighter rigs and better designed rigs to do that in. Still, you're going to feel the pinch.
