Thread: Can CPU sockets differ?

How do a CPU sockets differ Please explain me as soon as possible please reply me if anybody is knowing about it. Thanks in advance to all.

The chip is bigger and if it's double or quad core it's bigger yet again and needs more cooling. That’s why they differ from each other.

I think it has to do with the protiens and the cell recepter sites. that is why aids attacks white blood cells and not red blood cells. the recepter sites are different.
