Thread: PC stopped working

have a tower PC which have blocked working. Have tried different power equipment (two others) and no joy. The lights be lit on the on/off button but not anything is incident. The heat-sink fan doesn't spin; neither does the one portion the authority supply. Can anyone point me in the right course of what I ought to check next. Have a millimeter at my disposal.

Is this a tradition built PC or store bought? Recently built? My deduction is that the motherboard is shorted alongside the case perhaps. Were the brass standoff used between he motherboard in addition to case?

Is the cable for the button connected correctly to the board?
When the great P1 is plugged into the plank from the PSU does the green light (assuming the board has a green light) come on?
