It is quite interesting that despite technology advances by leaps and bounds, there are certain things that do not change. For example the most popular cooling systems are still the air, although there are other solutions that try to gain their own market share. It is clear that our processors with a cooling fan and a passive dissipation surface is the option chosen by most, and manufacturers still manage to produce attractive and efficient solutions at the same time.
And remember the Triton 81 conveniently analyzed last year. Then we saw a curious design that drew attention in particular to have the fan built into the heart of the aluminum deck. If we look at the case of this Triton 88 it is clear that the design is maintained, at least in part so not hard to imagine that still belongs to the same family.
The packaging used to show images of Triton 88 as it is. On the sides have air flow images and how they would sink mounted with two additional fans, plus some features explained. Behind we have a list of specifications, among which are: support for Intel LGA 775 and LGA 1366, support for AMD AM2 and AM2 + theoretical noise of 20 dBA internal fan 12 cm, copper base, and so on.
It is hoped that with a heat sink come a host of accessories back plate for different sockets, clamp AM2/AM2 +, fasteners for 1366 and 775, bolts, assembly tool, mounting wires optional fans, thermal paste injection manual.
