Cooler Master renews its range of radiators for high performance CPU. He does it with a heat sink that can accommodate the needs of more powerful processors. V6GT, made with a design that recalls the form of motor sport, it is capable, according to the manufacturer, to dissipate energy up to a maximum of 200 W (TDP CPU). The size of the structure are impressive, well-131 x 120 x 165 mm, weighing nearly a kilogram (939 g).
This may create some minor problems if you use a case-sized mini-tower or mid-tower. So it is good to consider buying V6GT only if you choose to build powerful configurations, appropriately housed in very large houses. In fact, however, this cooler is aimed at enthusiasts and those who want a sink that can accommodate any overclocking of the CPU.
V6GT supports Core i7 Extreme i7, i5, i3, Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Quad / Duo, Pentium and Celeron. It is possible to house the facility is on Socket 775, both on the latest LGA1156 and LGA1366. On the AMD side, ensures full compatibility with the solutions AM2, AM2 + and AM3 Phenom CPUs and II, Phenom, Athlon II, Athlon X2, Athlon and Sempron processors. The upper shell is made of plastic and imparts a distinctive design. What should be the oil cap is actually a switch that allows you to strip the central light to change color.
The radiator itself is spread mainly vertically and serves as the basis for fixing the two fans DynaLoop 120 mm. The dual-fan system allows for faster evacuation of hot air, without negatively impacting overall ergonomics. The speed is in fact between 800 and 2,200 rpm, for a noise level between 15 and 38 dBA. With included adapter, the two impellers can be connected to a single point in 4-pin PWM, while the operation of the LED is provided over a standard molex.
