The current flagship of the Thermalright subsidiary Cogage scores with a well above average cooling capacity and high quality workmanship. The heatsink is similar to the Thermalright IFX-classic 14 without doubt one of the most powerful cooler in the world. The "State of the Art" offers a very large heatsink surface and relies on the proven heatpipe technology. The processor heat is transferred without detours to the four high-end 8 mm heat pipes, which are (soldered) integrated in the nickel-plated copper base to ensure the most effective heat dissipation.
The base plate of copper heatpipes and the heatsink are guaranteed to protect against corrosion and to improve the performance of the cooler in the long term Nickel-plated. The special "Arrow" Design of the cooling fins causes a resistance-optimized and low-noise airflow, which ensures the swiftest and most effective heat dissipation. The heat sink is as usual Cogage excellent workmanship. The bottom of the cooler has a concave surface. The first time several years ago applied by Thermalright design has now been "adopted" by several other manufacturers. The slightly curved shape causes together with the groove-free surface of the support to further optimize the cooling performance.
The cooler is equipped with a PWM (temperature) delivered controlled 120 mm fan. Thus achieving the "ARROW" already in connection with the smooth-running series fans to its superior cooling performance. The "Arrow" is certainly an excellent choice when an especially effective and quiet cooling of all current Intel platforms from 775 to 1366 to 1156 is sought. In the version offered here you get the Cogage including an AMD Arrow Bolt-Thru kit with which you can mount the Arrow on AMD AM2/AM2 + / AM3 socket. In addition, there are two more sets fan (1 x 120 x 120 x 25 and 1 x 120 x 120 x 38 mm) supplied. Overall, enables up to three fans can be mounted. The larger fan bracket for fans with 38 mm depth can be used also excellent for 140 mm fans, but also allow the 120 mm fan attached brackets with a little skill to use a 140 fans.
