Default CPU or heat sink bread temp rise

Hi all, I was thinking that can single scratch in the heat sink cause a temperature raising speed in the hardwares. Actually few months ago something went wrong while altering the thermal paste. But still for to me, Heat sink is much better than it was before. But I think there would be few scratch. Please help! Thanks in advance!

I feel couple of small scratches on the heat sink won't be cause or temperature hike in the CPU. I guess you need to check that is there are sufficient spaces from your device heat sink which must be wide an open. I suggest you to speed the up the cooling fan of your machine which may help you to solve this problem.

What are you using to evaluate the temps! I advise you to install few other tools which also give the similar functionality to verify the difference between the results of both the software’s. Do not totally depend on the results show by third party coatings as each application has their various cases to measure the temps.

If scratch you are talking here on your heat sink is just significant as it might be little broad as to which few of the heat might be leaking from the distance where it should not be. I advise you to see the temp of a similar hardware as compare to the other surrounding hardware.

You have two theories or you put an electrical insulator between the chip and the heat sink to cool off, in this case the two markers is not a issue, the determination is best to place the tracks in the ground there and to be welded to itself is fasten.
