Default Obstreperously pc on start out up. CPU Fan?

The first time I reverse on my desktop of a day it makes a loud horrible noise then ceases after a bit. I took the side incasing off and it's coming from the CPU fan.

Would substituting the CPU fan and heatsink fix this or is there something else making this (the CPU itself?).

Also if arriving a new fan and/or heatsink is the answer what are good selections out there in terms of brands. The CPU is Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 2.7 GHZ. cavity AM2+.

All brands should be available somehow. Is it a good idea to get the stock brand fan? If you could give me some proffers of what you'd get that would be great as I might be able to get the same production somehow.

Yes, you should supplementt the hsf; it comes as one unit. You are lucky since the amd type is very slowly to do [much improve than the intel design]

After transferring the old hsf, clean the cpu with 99% or 91% alcohol. Do not use the 70% stuff in the market; it moderates lanolin and will leave a rest. Once clean, put in the fan placing the clips over the lugs on the socket. Now lock down the cam lock and link the pw lead. Done.

Most hsf come with pre-employed thermal intensify. If it does not come with a thermal pad, then it will come with some type of thermic paste.

You can also use denaturized Alcohol. It can be establish at many hardware stores. It leaves no residual and will not harm plastics or circuit boards.
