    Default Using an unsupported CPU

Hi all, II am planning to get an AM3 motherboard and CPU but the manufacturers site says the mb just supports the cpu with few bio version. What would take place if I was to place the CPU onto the mb that didn't have a bios version higher then what the website states? As I would not be able to update the bios as I have an extra AM3 CPU. Thanks!

Do one thing just have a 8series chipset related mobo & an AM3 processor. I guess it'll have bios update. But still can you state which board & processor you are going for?

The initial bios discovers the x6 as unknown and 2 cores weren't noticed on the bios, but it employed to access stable sufficiently to do a bios flash. Few won't be able to boot. Not the usually but latest manufactured boards arrive with the new bioses that they have at the point manufacturing. It’s not a problem for the present boards+ processors.
