Okay CPU casuals?
I just finished my first build, went into the bios, and commented my CPU is running at 39-40c. My CPU is an AMD Phenom II x4 945 95w, and I am peculiar if this is okay?
Thanks

You should have printed the deduction forms when you bought the products.

You might be capable to find the rebate forms. No guarantees, but it even might be listed.
Otherwise, try adjoining Newegg through e-mail, phone or live chat and see if they can get the patterns for you.

Those are good temps. What you actually care about are temps under full load. Boot into windows, Run Prime95 or your preferred CPU tension test for a few hours and watch your temps using reconsider, speed fan etc. If they stay under 50C then that's excellent. Below 60C is great. Under 70C is still not bad. Above 80C is not good.

What heat drop is you using?

Water-cooling on top of the CPU would be no better than air-chilling on the CPU. I'll leave it as a practice for the reader to determine why that is the case. Hint: it is for the same reason that Corsair recommends pulling air from the outside of the case, over the rad and into the case.
If you want water-cooling, you'll have to find a way to mount a rad on the external of that box somehow ... and with only 2x40mm fan bays, that will be disputing. Alternatively, you could endue in one of the kits that furnish an external rad and restore unit that sits on or beside your case.
