If you imagine what you read on the web, Intel's rate-topping Sandy Bridge Very processors are just only a fortnight away, and that can just mean one thing: an imminent flood of supporting products. We have already seen a kind of X79 CPU boards on show, and now Noctua's bringing together the LGA2011 party with an informed edition of its famous NH-D14 central processing unit cooler.
The revised cooler even appears a lot similar to the actual 2009 example, but the new revision - dubbed the NH-D14 SE2011 - is armed with a some minor tweaks that will just serve to increase its award-winning reputation.
First and foremost, the SE2011 version arrives bunches with a SecuFirm2 mounting system that supports the big Sandy Bridge Extreme socket, and secondly, it is skilled with fresh-and-developed fans.
The heatsink itself is the similar 6-heat pipe, double-radiator plan, but the 2 bundled NF-P12 and NF-P14 fans character a fresh custom-planned NE-FD1 PWM IC that Noctua claims create them without noisy at less velocity.Helpful to familiar, but it is a dishonor the producer has opted not to alter the beige/brown color pattern.
It did not appear especially smart in 2009, and it really has not developed on us.Fancy one for an upcoming Sandy Bridge Extreme construct? Maintained your credit card at hand as the NH-D14 SE2011 will be "available soon" at a recommended retail price.
