To use a mouse comfortably and successfully, the mouse must be adjusted for you personal preferences. You can adjust the mouse according to your preferences through the Mouse Properties dialog box. For example, you can change the primary mouse button from left to right, increase or decrease the double-click speed, change the mouse-pointer, etc. Let us now undertake the following steps to open the Mouse Properties dialog box and adjust one of its property - the Double-click speed.

1. Move the mouse-pointer over the Start button and click the left mouse-button. Inside the push-up menu, move the mouse-pointer over the Control Panel option and click the left mouse-button.

2. The window of Control Panel appears. Move the mouse¬pointer over the Mouse icon and double-click the left mouse-button.

3. The Mouse Properties dialog box appears. By default, the Buttons tab appears active
