VirtualBox is commonly used with the x86 hardware especially for the server, desktop and even for the permanent use and it is open basis software.
Following are the functions related to the VirtualBox:
VirtualBox has a tremendously modular design with clearly detailed internal programming interfaces and a client / server design. Which makes it very easier for you to control it from several interfaces for example; you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI, and then control the machine's command line, or may be remote. It is also available with complete Software Development Kit: even if it open source software and you don’t have to break the source of writing a new interface.
Virtual machine described in XML. Of the virtual machine configuration settings are stored in XML and are fully reliant on the local machine. Therefore the description of a virtual machine can be easily ported to other computers
