TrueCrypt is a software system to launch and sustain a real-time encrypted drive. By way of real-time encryption, data is repeatedlyencrypted or decrypted before they are being stored or saved, without any user involvement. No data is stored in an encrypted volume and cannot be read (decrypted) without using the correct password or correct encryption keys. Until decrypted, a TrueCrypt volume appears to no more than a series of option numbers. And Encrypt the entire file system (i.e. file names, folder names, contents, every file, and free space).This software is highly suggested for securing data mostly for laptops.

And following are the task performed by TrueCrypt:

• The program itself creates it own Virtual encrypted disk within a file and escalate it as the main drive.

• The program encrypts the whole drive of any storage device or if the user is using any external drive.
