Ping Assist Pro is utilized to observe network devices. Software has two modules:

1) Ping Assist Service pings devices, sends alarm notifications by e-mail and LAN, logs pings, alarms and ping statistics. Service has no user interface and work with numerous Monitors immediately. The number of Monitors concurrently working with Service based on type of purchased license.

2) Ping Assist Monitor has user interface and is utilized to edit list of devices that must be pinged, control ping process, show ping results. This implementation makes it probable to make flexible solutions for software use. Service and Monitor installed jointly on one and same PC or individually on various PCs attached to one LAN. E.g. install Service on server and Monitor on workstation. It is suggested to install Service on server if you need 24/7 observing as workstation doesn’t work like this as a rule. Server also has several network cards attached to dissimilar networks. The Service simply ping devices placed in various networks and technical support view ping process results and manage them using Monitor on their workstations.
