It allows you navigate a 3D texture-map model of the earth. You can point at different area of the planet and catch it to download maps from the internet and "stick" them on the 3D model. It can also connect to a GPS receiver unit and display trips, current position, and satellite trajectories. It allows you calculate distances on the earth’s surface.
