TrueCrypt is a free tool under GPL license that allows you to encrypt your drives on the fly. The program allows you to mount virtual disks that appear completely encrypted in your browser as physical disks. If you wish, these drives can also be hidden for added security. And security side precisely, many encryption algorithms are proposed by the program (AES-256, CAST5, Tripe OF. ). TrueCrypt has a wizard to create an encrypted volume easily. The latter will be protected by a password that will be required to access the encrypted content.
