DockView 1.55 for Mac
DockView is a desktop customization app that helps you take a nice trick from Windows and copy it in Snow Leopard with DockView working when you mouse over an app's icon in the Dock you can rapidly see instant thumbnail images for all the windows open in that app. You can accomplish something same without DockView by clicking and holding a Dock icon for a bit seconds, but DockView allows you a much quicker and little intrusive view while permitting you to rapidly change among various apps in the Dock.
Plus DockView's ability expands to the Mac OS Application Switcher, the horizontal ribbon of apps you view when you hold down Command-Tab.When a thumbnail comes up, you just click on it to pull up that window and keyboard freaks will be happy to know that DockView also shows a quick key combo you can use to pull up a given window. In addition to DockView's central schtick it gives few nice extras like mini playback controls in iTunes and in the Dock a list of the day's appointments in iCal.
You can match with DockView's suggestion for various choice but many users won't require to go beyond the mistake. DockView is easy to try out with a free trial although you'll require to register if you want to remove a fairly persistent nag screen.
