Working in DOS is quite simple after Windows desktop displayed before you. To activate DOS from Windows Me/98 you will need to undertake the following steps:

1. Move the mouse-pointer over the start button and click the left mouse-button. A push-up menu appears.

2. Move the mouse-pointer over the Run option and click the left mouse-button. Run dialog box appears.

3. Type cmd and press the Enter key on the keyboard. DOS window appears
