Thread: Displaying Files of Some Other Directory/Drive

You can display the files of other directories as well. This can be done by specifying a path. A path tells DOS where a particular file is located.



Suppose that, at present, you are in the Root directory (C: \ » and you wish to see the content listing of the My Documents sub-directory. In such a case, type the following command at the DOS prompt (C: \ » :

C:\>DIR\Mydocu~ l

Or

C:\>DIR\Mydocu~l
