VoIP is an acronymfor voice over Internet Protocol. With the help of VolP services, the voice of a person can be transmitted into digital signals to be transported over the internet. VolP enables you to make calls directly from a computer through special VolP enabled applications or chat applications, or VolP enabled phones. To use VolP services, you would require a high-speed internet connection to transfer data packets. While some VolP service providers charge for calls which are made out of a particular calling area, others may charge a flat rate on the basis of pulse or talk time.
