Thread: Easy: Copy/Delete

The advanced features available in Sync Back contain options and settings that will enable the user to take full advantage of this great piece of software. If you
are jittery about trying it, then you can safely skip this step. Advanced users may proceed further.



First, select a profile from the main application window and click the 'Modify' button. Press the 'Expert' button on the bottom of the 'Profile Setup' window, which will cause nine more tabs to appear. Switch to the 'Copy/Delete' tab, which is also available in the Easy Mode, and select your desired options. For instance, 'Do not display a progress dialog box', 'Verify that files are copied correctly' and 'Prompt to retry if a file is locked or cannot be copied'. Changing the default settings may either increase or decrease the time taken for the synchronization process to complete. While the first option to not display the progress bar will decrease the time taken, the second and third options may well increase it depending on how many files are locked or cannot be copied.
