SyncBack integrates with Windows Task Scheduler to carry out tasks automatically at pre-defined time intervals. Select the profile in the main application window, and click the 'Schedule' button. Users of Windows NT, 2000 or XP will need to input their login password in the Windows Scheduler window, or else it will not run. Switch to the 'Schedule' tab and set how often and at what time the task has to run.

The 'Settings' tab will allow us to alter how the scheduler will function. For instance, set 'Idle Time' so that syncs only occur when the computer has been inactive for 10 minutes. Exit the Scheduler and confirm your settings by pressing 'OK'. To edit or delete a schedule, first select the profile in the main program window, and click the 'Schedule' button, and in the following Schedule Status window click 'Delete Schedule' or 'Edit Schedule' .
