You might have columns with multiple values which are not unique but extremely redundant. You might need to know how many values are actually present in the particular list. You can seperate the unique values and place them in another cell range by using filters. To copy unique records to a new cell range, simply carry out the following steps.

Select the column that needs to be filtered.

Go to the" Data" tab.

Click "Advanced Filter", appearing under the "Sort and Filter" group.

In the "Advanced Filter" dialog box that appears, select the "Copy to Another Location" option.

The "List range" and "Criteria value" appears directly as we had already selected the required range.

In the "Copy to:" text box, key in the value as "B2".

Check the "Unique Records Only" option.

Click "OK".

The unique records will appear in Row B from cell B2 onwards,
