Excel enables you to create a snapshot or an image of a specific range of cells so that you can save it and reuse it in the future even if the original Excel file has been deleted,These image screenshots include cell ranges, charts or other objects from your worksheet. To do so, carry out the following steps.

Select an object, chart or continuous range of cells to be preserved.

Go to the "Home" tab.

Click the "Copy" option appearing under the "Clipboard" group.

Click the small arrow appearing under the "Paste" option in the "Clipboard" group.

In the drop-down menu, click the "As Picture" option.

In the sub menu, click the "Copy as Picture" option.

The "Copy Picture" dialog box appears.

Under the "Appearance" section, click the appropriate appearance option you require.

Under the "Format" section, click the required image format.

Click on "OK".

You can paste this copied image anywhere for example in another workbook, a Word document or an Outlook mail.

NOTE: If you have magnified your worksheet, and you select the "As Shown On Screen" option, the picture is not copied exactly as it is displayed.

The image so captured will always be at 100% magnification and not as per the Excel sheet settings,
