For installation, you need to provide the database username and password along with the database name in the configuration file found in 'conf' folder. Once this is done, you need to import mysql-tables.sql into your database to create tables (use phpmyadmin for this process). Now let us see how you can you configure Owl OM solution to send notification or alert to the users, For this, login with administrator privilege, navigate to the 'Site feature' menu and then scroll to the 'Owl system e-mail setting' section. Then check lhe 'Use SMTP mailing method' option, define SMTP port as 25, define maximum attachment size, provide tbe address of SMTP server that you will be using for sending mails. Provide the sender address at 'From Address' text box and SMTP username and password for authentication. Provide a subject for the outgoing mail and also mention the reply address which will be used by users to send any feedback or comments. Once all these things are done, click on the 'Change' button provided at the bottom of the page.
