Thread: PC in office

[Q] I have some queries I need you to help me solve. My cousin is a sub-broker and he does all his broking through a reputed company. He does his business deals through the PC in his office. The company often remotely accesses his PC and makes changes to the registry or updates the software as and when required. A few days ago, as usual, they accessed the computer remotely and made some changes. But since then my cousin is unable to turn on any sound from the computer. My cousin then asked me to help solve the problem, but I could not figure out how to turn the sound back on. I tried the sound and audio properties options from the Control Panel. But all the options there have been grayed out or disabled. There is no sound output from the PC, be it error messages or any audio file. Please help me get the sound back to its normal state.
