This article will concentrate on the computational methods used for problem solving. Unlike in the previous segment, 'here we will be dealing more with the theory than with trials!
A problem associated with some of the standard books on computational methods is that they require the use of proprietary software. I remember reading Applied Quantum Mechanics by A. F. J. Levi. The book, though very useful and interesting, provides the solutions to problems in Matlab code. So, I shall deal with some of the free software tools that you can use while trying to apply the theory to your problems.
