Imitation India has introduced the TDK LoR's new Blu-ray disks that are capable of recording at 4x speed. The disks are available in the BD-R25 (Single-Side, single-layer, 25GB), BD¬R50 (single-side, dual-layer, 50GB) write-once, as well as BD-RE25 (Single-side, single-layer, 25GB) and BD-RE50 (single-side, dual- Layer, 50GB) rewritable models.

4 x speeds reduces re¬cording time by half compared with the previous 2x disks. 4.7 GB of data can be copied in less than 5 minutes, which is com¬parable to the DVD-R recording speed of 16x.
