Thread: Using drop caps

Since your stories would begin from the first page itself, a drop cap ensures that your readers know where each of your stories begin. To apply a drop cap to the first alphabet of your story, go to the "Insert" tab. Under the "Text" group, click the "Drop Cap" option. Click the "Drop Cap Options ..... in the drop-down menu. In the dialog box, select the "Dropped" option. Select a decorative font like "Algerian", Set the "Lines to drop" value to "3" and click "OK".
