Images seem incomplete and out of place when you don't explain their contents. Text captions give your images meaning and help the user summarize the story. People generally browse through images before reading text to know if the stroy will be of relevence to them. To add text captions to your images, select the image and go to the '"References'" tab. Click the '"Insert Caption'" option under the '"Capfions'" group. Set the '"Label'" value to '"Figure'" and set the '"Position'" as '"Below selected item'". Click '"OK'". Click the textbox and type text after '"Figure W'. '"W' refers to the image number.
