When your system hard disk is running out of space, Windows Vista will pop up a small message indicating that there is less memory on your system. This pop-up message can come in handy but may even get annoying at a particular point of time. Aside from being annoying, Windows Vista's constant checking for low space uses system resources which slow down Windows.
