You might have used the Autotill feature in Excel quite extensively. While using the Autofill feature, you need to provide Excel with a fill pattern. There are also certain pre-created lists which Excel uses without providing a secondary input value. This means that you are required to provid.e only an initial value to fill the subsequent cells. These lists include values for the days of the week, and months of the year, both in their long and short forms.

There is no existing list to recreate alphabets in their original order. You can, however, create a custom list for alphabets appearing in their original sequence.
To do so, just carry out the steps as mentioned below:

o Go to the "Office Button".

o Click the "Popular': option appearing on the left-side panel.

o Under the "Top options,!or working with Excel" section, click the "Edit Custom Lists ... " button.

NOTE: The values can be typed as a comma separated list. You can also press the [Enter] key after every element entered.

o Once done, click the "Add" button to create the custom list.

o Click "OK" to close the "Custom Lists" dialog box,

o The "Excel Options" dialog box will reappear.

o Click "OK" to close the "Excel Options" dialog box.

o To use this series, type any alphabet with which you want to begin the series.

o Drag the fill handle to fill the rest of the cell with subsequently following alphabets.

NOTE: The list is not case sensitive. The case of the list will depend on the input value
