Thread: Filling cells with text

You might require filling the entire length of the cell with text, either as characters or words. You might also want to automatically fill or delete the text as and when
the co.[umn length is altered. You can do so without using any complicated formul?To do so, carry out the following steps:



o Type the word or characters in the required cell.

o Select the cell and go to l"ne "Home" tab.

o Click the small arrow that appears at the base of the "Alignment" group.

o The "Format Cells" dialog box appears and the "Alignment" tab is activated.


Under the "Text Alignment" section of the tab, select the "Fill" option in the "Horizontal:" drop-down options. Click "OK" to continue. The data that you entered will be repeated even if you scale the column size. If you check the data on the formula bar, it will appear only once.
