    Default using GSplit

    Before using GSplit you have to configure several options like setting the size of each piece, the number of pieces the file will be split into and the destination folder where the file would be saved. To do so:

    1. Open GSplit and click the "Original File" link.

    2. Click "Browse" and select an appropriate file.

    3. Click the "Destination Folder" link.

    4. Inthe "Destination Path" text box, enter the path to the destination folder or click"Browse" to simply locate it.

    5. In the "Pieces" section, click the "Type and size" link.

    6. To define the size of each file, select the "I want to set the file of all piece files" option from the drop-down list.

    7. Enter the size of the files pieces in the "Size" text box.

    8. To define the number of pieces to be created, select the "I want to set the size of all file pieces" option from the drop-down list.

    9. Enteran appropriate value in the "Number of pieces" text box.

    10. Click the "Filenames" link.

    11. in the piece name mask, enter an appropriate name for the files. For example "name. gsd"

    12. To split the file, click the "Split Filel" link, select an appropriate option from the "Thread Priority" drop-down list and click the "Split" button.

    13. To unite the pieces into a single file, double¬click the application file in the destination folder.
