Thread: reating the chart as an Embedded object

In Word 2007, gridlines can be used to line up text and pictures with precision the user has the choice of creating the chart as an embedded object on one of the existing worksheets or as a free-standing chart on its own sheet. In the latter case, the new sheet will be placed before the existing worksheets and labelled as Chart 1. It can be renamed to something more user-friendly by double-clicking it and typing a new name.
