When Word 2003 is first installed, only part of each menu is displayed; to see the hidden commands on any menu, you have expand it by clicking the chevrons at the bottom. To reveal the full menus, open the Tools menu and click CustomIze, then in the Customize dialogue box, select the Options tab. Tick the 'Always show full menus' box and then click Close. This tip does not apply to Word 2007, because its new ribbon organises menu options more efficiently.
