When pasting text from web pages into Word, it usually ends up with hyperlinks you'd rather weren't there. These can be removed individually by right-clicking on each link and selecting Remove Hyperlink, but it's a lot easier to remove them as a group by selecting the text that's just been pasted and pressing Shift, Ctrl and F9. The text remains, complete with its original formatting, but the links are now inactive.
